When multiple locals nominate the same place, it can appear in Trending go-tos. This is demand to be discovered, not a restaurant ranking yet.
Restaurants join the board
Selected restaurants are invited to claim their listing through their verified business email. A listing shows its location, cuisine, and public diner signals.
Leave one clear signal
On a live restaurant page, Google-signed-in diners choose GO for a place they recommend or NO-GO for a place they would skip.
The board follows the moment
GO is worth +2 and NO-GO is worth −1. You can change your call after 12 hours; repeated taps never stack a restaurant’s score.
Two views, one city
Trending now reflects recent 24-hour momentum. The Go List is the lasting score for places that keep earning genuine local backing.
The score, in one line
Go score = GO signals × 2 − NO-GO signals. Trending uses recent 24-hour activity; the Go List retains the longer-term score.
What keeps it credible
Voting requires Google sign-in. One person can hold one current signal per restaurant and can update it after 12 hours. We may remove automated, coordinated, misleading, or abusive activity.
What restaurants can expect
Restaurants do not pay for rank. Selected places can claim a listing through a verified business email and receive a straightforward daily signal summary while the board is growing.
